Very friendly staff and good classic food with a modern twist. And a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Reserved weeks in advance for the Sunday brunch, on the day of the brunch we stood in front of the locked door despite the reservation confirmation ... An absurdity.

Good food and great atmosphere which has its price

Positively surprised. Quality of the food was great - great that there was also a vegetarian schnitzel. That was really good.

Wiener schnitzel very tasty, entrecôte (220g) was good. The Wiener Schnitzel (2 schnitzel, French fries, salad) was very good value for money. The entrecôte for me a bit overpriced. French fries had to be ordered. Service very friendly but a bit overwhelmed in the evening, as the restaurant was well filled and could not be managed with two service staff.

Good ambience to catch up with friends

Very courteous, nice service. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Will be happy to come back. Tip: the schnitzels are awesome;)

Insolence par excellence. Here the beer glasses are filled up to 2cm below the line and served again despite complaints. Gröstl as the main course tasted below average and the portion was also extremely small. If this aggressive, stingy attitude persists, customers will no longer come.

Super Schnitzel. Top Service ?

Super unfriendly kicked out because we just wanted to have a drink. I understand an economy as something else, as much as I can understand that the hosts are doing poorly, but that could have been done more nicely - if necessary, even in advance when making a reservation. Prices relatively expensive and such a service - not again.

Simple restaurant with ambitious cuisine and friendly service. The clear map contains creatively interpreted classics that are offered on fair terms.

At the christening of our son we had reserved a table for 10 adults plus 1 child and 1 baby in the stroller, with the request to get a quieter table in the back of the restaurant in order to have enough space for the stroller. Unfortunately we were only given a table for 8 people, 2 more seats would be free in the next 15 minutes. Unfortunately what the staff did not try to solve the problem and reacted even pampy. In the end we spontaneously got a place in another restaurant :)

Really good! Great food, great music (at exactly the right volume), good selection of drinks, price fits. Nice service, although there was a lot going on and you sometimes had to wait a bit. Also recommended for groups.

Great place for brunch on Sundays. There are plenty of options in the buffet: sweet, savory, meaty or vegetarian. Definitely one of the best brunches in Munich!

Excellent food with focus on spetzle

If you're looking for schnitzel and fries in Munich, this is the place to go. Great food, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. If you don't book ahead then you can eat at the bar so they're pretty flexible.

Taste it!

Good food and kind people. We are living in Munich since April and we can say this is the best schnitzel we tried by the moment, really big and with butter taste. We also ordered spinach dumplings which really so nice. We highly recommend to visit Spezlwirtschaft.

Decent brunch but friendly staff.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, many good quality options in the brunch buffet, but we found some rotten fruit. Additionally no eggs and drinks included in the brunch.

The breakfast/brunch buffet was good and well priced(comparatively) at ~15€ per head. We were a group of 7 people and thus reserved tables couple of days ahead. The place was quite full and reservation is recommended.

Nice café with very, very good brunch. The selection is not huge - everything tastes very fresh and tasty! The waiters are very friendly and attentive. The milk coffee is awesome! You can sit inside as well as outside in summer. Because of the quiet street the passing cars hardly disturb you!

Nice café that offers a brunch for 14.90 € at the weekend. For that you get some goodies. Among other things, there are finely sliced ​​roast beef, various antipasti, cut, cheese, fruit salad, cereals and various breads. There was also a cake, as well as Bavarian potato salad. All food was cold but that did not matter. If you want you can order additional dishes from the menu, such as white sausages, burgers etc. I enjoyed it very much and since I currently do without carbohydrates, I focused mainly on antipasti, roast beef and cheese. But the bread looked fresh and delicious. I can definitely recommend. If you come from about 11h, you should ideally have reserved, because it is a bit crowded. Eight little drawback and therefore one star less: The service took a long time for the bill, but otherwise everything was great!

Nice ambiance - music and decor, staff are friendly too. Food is great and a good selection of beverages too. The location in Altstadt is a little more lively, if not more hidden. Would recommend any time. Expected to spend €25-30 for main course & drink, per head. Not the cheapest place around.

Good beer and good dessert! Didn’t try out the food, but will probably come back to try it out. :)

Had a great steak, cooked spinach and a very good side salad. The steak was served with a very good herb butter. Service was fast and the atmosphere is a kind Bavarian cool hipster. Also had the kāse spätzle, or the German version of Mac and Cheese. Partner who is German would have liked a stronger cheese in späzel, but liked it quite well. All really good.

Probably the only place in the hood of Haidhausen (and wider area) where you can get this original beer - Haake Beck Pils - from the northern city of Bremen. This restaurant is popular for it‘s Schnitzel, French Fries and the lovely Burger. Enjoy it cause it’s great!

The Schnitzel I had was soso. Other the place and the staff were nice.

Ok but not more! Will be a one time experience. Steak was good but the salad was really not enjoyable.

Last Wednesday (July 5th, 2017) we were in the new special economy in Haidhausen for the first time and had a wonderful evening in a nice round! Nice location with a modern interior. Fortunately we had one of the tables outside, which was great in temperatures around 30 degrees! After a delicious aperitivo, we ordered various appetizers to share: two kinds of tartare (beef and wild prawn), burrata, roast beef and the dipset (dark bread with various dips). Everything summery, fresh and really delicious! My personal favorite was clearly the tartare of the prawn shrimp! We recommend! We continued with pikeperch on beluga lentils and the tagliatelle with chanterelles, which were also fantastic! Then there was my favorite dessert, the chocolate cake with a liquid core! TOP!!! The bottom line was that we really had a great evening with excellent food, super attentive service and a delicious gin and tonic at the end! (Plus point: various gins and tonic waters to choose from) Finally something new in Haidhausen! We would love to come back;)!

Reserve beforehand. Friendly service, with an ambiance that is a youthful take on Bavarian traditions. Really good food.
